Reporting to the campus Energy Engineer, the Energy Auditor will conduct field measurements of the critical parameters affecting energy consumption in the buildings and support the implementation of energy auditing, retro-commissioning, and other energy projects on campus. Candidate will work in a team environment with Facilities operations group to perform investigations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment; energy management control systems (EMCS)/direct digital control (DDC) systems, and lighting, power, or other energy-related systems to identify energy conservation opportunities, and help facilitate the implementation of projects, initiatives, and programs that reduce energy consumption and demand, save money, and help the environment. Work tasks will involve a combination of office duties and frequent field visits in and around various building sites. The Energy Auditor will have the ability to perform measurement and verification activities to assure that implemented projects are generating the projected energy savings.
