This four-day live seminar will not be offered again during the current calendar year. However, you may wish to consider hosting an inhouse BEST training course at your own location by contacting 770-279-4391.

This course is designed to provide building operators, maintenance personnel and technicians working in commercial buildings with the necessary training needed to achieve sustainable, energy-efficient high performance buildings, while meeting all applicable building codes and standards. The program also serves as a preparatory vehicle for AEE's Building Energy and Sustainability Technician (BEST) professional certification exam. Instruction will cover "best practices" for improving energy efficiency through enhanced operations and maintenance, assessing each specific area of building systems and operational practices. Energy measurements and instrumentation for determining energy consumption will also be examined.

The BEST certification process requires meeting specified BEST eligibility requirements, along with the submitting of a separate BEST application and $300 application fee, which qualifies you to sit for the exam. The BEST exam will be administered at the close of instruction on day 4 of each seminar -- only to those candidates who have met the above requirements. To obtain your BEST application form or see further information on the BEST program, visit
