In
addition to the two-day expo, the WEEC's program agenda includes
a three-day conference, as well as a full line-up of seminars
on a broad range of energy-related topics.
The
WEEC opening session will feature Keynote Speaker General Colin
L. Powell, USA (Ret.), Jay Hakes, Director of the Jimmy Carter
Presidential Library and Museum, and Susan Story, President and
CEO of Southern Company Services. Former President Jimmy Carter
will deliver a video address to all WEEC attendees. The closing
Keynote Luncheon will feature legendary Anchor and Special Correspondent
for NBC's Rock Center, Ted Koppel.
Also,
in order to address the interests and needs of the large number
of U.S. government professionals expected to attend the 2012 WEEC,
AEE will again present a special section of the program known
as FEMWorks 2012.
This multi-track portion of the WEEC conference will include a
