NICK
STECKY, C.E.M., LEED Accredited Professional, is president of his
own facilities consulting firm headquartered in New Jersey. He brings
to this program over 30 years experience in the design, construction and
operation of a broad spectrum of facilities, including corporate R&D,
corporate headquarters, federal nuclear labs, U.S. Department of Defense,
and educational facilities. In addition, he has more than ten years experience
in the energy consulting, auditing, and ESCO industries. A recognized
leader in the energy industry, Mr. Stecky has served as AEE Region 1 vice
president, president of the New Jersey chapter of AEE, chairman of the
New Jersey High Performance Building Working Group, and on the board of
directors for the New Jersey chapter of the U.S. Green Buildings Council.
His speaking engagements have included the ASHRAE winter and summer conventions.
He has also been involved in local government, both as an elected official
and as founder and chairman of his town's Sustainability and Green Building
Committee. He holds a bachelors degree in engineering and masters in systems.
