STAN WALERCZYK, L.C., C.L.E.P., principal of Lighting Wizards, Inc., brings to this program a wealth of expertise in high bay lighting design and application. He has presented numerous seminars on the subject, and has also written widely in the field. He has 19 years of lighting design, consultation, third party review, and turnkey retrofit experience involving over 400 projects, including schools, hospitals, office buildings, historic commercial buildings, retail stores, factories, warehouses, parking facilities, and multifamily dwellings. Mr. Walerczyk is a consultant for California's Title 20 Appliance Standard, which mandates efficiency standards for lighting products which can be legally bought and sold. He has also been assisting on U.S. Department of Energy research on scotopically enhanced lighting. He is a member of IESNA, serving on its Effects of Lamp Spectral Distribution Committee, past member of its Energy Management Committee and former chair of the Retrofit/Upgrade Subcommittee. He is widely published in major lighting and energy trade journals, such as the IESNA LD+A and Energy User News and has made presentations at LightFair International, the World Energy Engineering Congress, and over 100 utility sponsored seminars.
