BARRY I. BENATOR, P.E., C.E.M., is founder and president of BENATECH, Inc., a leadership and management consulting and training firm serving clients throughout the U.S. and internationally. He has more than 30 years of consulting and training experience for corporate and governmental clients and has taught energy engineering and life cycle costing skills to more than 5,000 energy engineers, facility managers and utility personnel. His clients have included: Association of Energy Engineers; American Public Power Association; Chevron Energy Solutions; American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; Florida Power & Light Company; Pacific Maritime Association; Jamaica Public Service Company; U.S. Department of Energy; and U.S. Navy. Barry has an M.B.A. in finance from Loyola College and M.S. and bachelor degrees in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech. He is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Master Practitioner, a certified Situational Leadership® Program trainer, and a Professional Engineer / Certified Energy Manager.
