Presented online in a series of six live two-hour time modules, this seminar is designed to provide the specific training and background needed by professionals preparing to sit for AEE's Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) exam. The course agenda also includes updates on topics of current importance to all energy managers.

You can participate in the seminar from your office, home, or anywhere you have access to the internet and a phone. You'll have opportunities to interact with your instructor and colleagues in real time during the six live teleconferencing sessions.

ABOUT THE SEMINAR
This course will review the technical, economic and regulatory aspects of effective energy management, as well as the basics of energy efficiency improvement as it relates to electrical, utility, building and combustion systems. The essentials of performing an energy audit, as well as developing practical strategies for reducing energy costs will also be covered.

Designed for engineers with a minimum of 3 years' experience in energy efficiency, this program covers the full scope of subjects addressed on the CEM examination, including problem-solving techniques oriented toward typical problems you'll encounter on the exam. For more about CEM certification and testing, Click Here.

The designation "CEM" is a nationally recognized credential, having been adopted by a variety of entities throughout the U.S. For example the CEM was adopted by SAFE-BIDCO for its low-interest loan programs, by D.O.D. for R.F.P.'s for energy audits, and by the Mississippi Energy Department for its auditor certification program. In addition, the state of Virginia requires state agencies that spend in excess of $1 million annually to retain an agency energy manager with the CEM credential.
