FREDRIC
S. GOLDNER, C.E.M., is a nationally recognized expert in the area
of energy auditing and management. Founding principal of Energy Management
& Research Associates (EMRA), he is involved in a wide variety of
projects, including research, facility audits and use analyses, and energy
software development and program design. Over an eight year span he conducted
extensive research in the area of multifamily building DHW loads and systems.
As a result he authored a new set of DHW sizing guidelines included in
the 1995 ASHRAE Handbook, and the ASPE DWH Design Manual. Mr. Goldner
is also an adjunct professor at the Center for Energy Policy & Research
at NYIT. He has received many awards for his work, most notably being
inducted into the Energy Managers Hall of Fame in 2007, for his lifetime
of achievement in promoting the practices and principles of energy management.
He sits on numerous engineering and industry committees and boards, and
has served on the Certified Energy Manager Board since 2006. Mr. Goldner
remains an active member of the New York Chapter AEE Board of Directors,
and served as International President of the Association of Energy Engineers
for 2003.
