Expand Your Company's Presence at This Year's Show by Giving a Workshop Presentation on the Show Floor...

These special workshops will provide an exciting benefit for exhibitors, and strong incentive to bring additional attendees to the 2012 show floor (and to your booth) by providing them with details on specific ways new products are being successfully applied in real world settings. The workshop presentation area will be located in the exhibit hall, near the attendee luncheon area. To promote the workshops, AEE will conduct a marketing campaign exclusively designed to build show attendance, and to invite potential attendees to the workshop presentations.

The workshops, to be conducted by selected West Coast EMC exhibitors, are intended to be non-commercial / non-political in nature, and targeted to showcase success stories, applications, problem solving, technology integration, and retrofit/new construction considerations. The workshops are distinctly different from the fee-based West Coast EMC conference, and will be offered at no charge to exhibits-only visitors, conference attendees, invited end users, as well as exhibitor-invited guests. (To view a sample listing of 2011 West Coast EMC exhibit hall workshops, CLICK HERE.)

Selection Process / Requirements:
Only 2012 exhibiting companies who have already reserved booth space and paid a 50% booth fee deposit will be considered as candidates to make workshop presentations.

Each presentation will be 15-20 minutes (maximum) in duration. Since workshop presentation space is limited, assignments will be made on the following criteria:

  • Date abstract is received (must be a current exhibitor at time of submission). You may submit online using Call for Papers links above, or mail your abstract to:

    Jacqueline Fraga, Program Manager
    AEE Exhibit Programs
    P.O. Box 1026
    Lilburn, GA 30048

  • Quality of presentation / subject matter - All abstracts will be reviewed, and decisions by AEE review committee are final.

(Participating exhibitor agrees to hold harmless AEE, show host, sponsors and its contractors with regard to any issue arising from or relevant to the exhibitor's presentation in the exhibit hall.)

Distribution of Printed Workshop Papers
Presenter has the option to distribute 100 pre-printed copies of his/her paper within the workshop presentation area.

More Details About the Workshops...
AEE will provide a clearly marked area on the show floor structured for presentations, including seating for attendees, as well as directional signs and a posted speaker schedule for attendees. Attendees do not have to pre-register for the workshop sessions, and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. (A limited amount of VIP seating will be made available for invited guests of presenters.)
AEE does not guarantee to workshop presenters any specific attendance number for these sessions.

AEE will provide a screen and data projector. Exhibitor is responsible for bringing his/her own laptop with the presentation, along with any hand-outs to be provided to attendees. Workshop sessions are on a timed schedule, and it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to adhere to this schedule. Failure to do so may result in loss of the opportunity to present the scheduled workshop.
